Just used my roomates urine...Have some questions...

I just went to Quest Labs in my hometown to submit a urine sample. I had an empty bottle of Quick Fix Plus that I had my roomate pee into. Everything went well there, temp read between 94-96. I got home and started running through scenarios on how it might not work. Here are some things I did before he filled it up for me. Yesterday morning I peed into the bottle and put a hand warmer around it to make sure that it would keep it at temp. Once I saw that it worked I dumped mine out and started practicing filling up with water and pouring it into a cup. So I have 3 questions....

1. Will any of the THC from my urine still be in the bottle after repeatedly filled it up with water and dumped it out?

2. Before he peed I was trying to get every last bit of water out of the bottle by blowing into it and shaking it out. There was very little moisture in the bottle and I am wondering if that will have any effect on the sample coming back diluted?

3. I ran it under very hot water right before I left to get the temp up to 100 on the strip. Will that have any affect on the urine being over 98 for a short period of time?

Sorry if these are dumb questions but I have a really good job riding on it and am getting a little paranoid...

Those are not dumb questions let me see if I can ease your mind.

1. There is NO WAY any significant amount of THC metabolites from your urine were left in the bottle after washing it out.

2. Urine is naturally mostly water. A little bit of water left in the bottle is not going to have any effect on the outcome.

3. I usually heat my samples in the microwave over 100 degrees. I have also left my sub bottles in a hot glove box for weeks on end. As long as there wasn't excessive exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures (140+), you are going to be fine.

:hippy:awesome, thank you cyan! puts my mind to ease a bit. as for being exposed to sunlight or over 140*, he filled it up for me at 8:45am and i was dumping it by 9:30am...looks like im gonna be fine. will post my success story in a few days when im starting the job. :hippy:

Im with you on that sweet and easy sub =) used a quickfix bottle as well, can't beat having your own temp strip.

Id hate to get in there and not know what temp my sub is =(

Sorry it has taken so long to reply...I have been so busy with my JOB! I got tested on fri morn and had to report to training the following monday. They were obviously assuming I was going to pass. Needless to say, I was kinda worried at the beginning of the week that I was going to walk in one morning and they were going to tell me I failed and to leave. Well, I am in my second week and really liking my job right now. Thanks for the positive feedback on my initial post! :hippy:
