sativa vs. indica cultivation?

Hi guys -

new here. I've been through two harvests now and have been growing mostly indicas but have tried two sativa dominant plants; Mr. Nice 2 (which I think is sativa dominant judging by the leaves and plant shape) and Lemon G13 (which is my fav smoke). While the indicas look like they are flourishing, these two sativas have had dry lower leaves that look like they curl up and die mid-flower which continues through harvest. it looks like I'm burning them or something...I wish I had some pics.

so may I ask: are there known differences in the cultivation of sativa vs. indica? in terms of PH?, nutrient mix?, light height?, temp., humidity, anything else? I want to make these work as well as all you guys' sick grow pics!

a picture is worth a thousand words

every strain has slightly different needs. There are certain strains (sour-d, bubblegum) that always turn the fan leaves yellow at week 4-6 for me. I'm sure someone running a different program may not have that issue.

but yea, a couple good pictures would be helpful. ..
