So after all that noise from Iran about sending "Humanitarian Aid" to Gaza with a bloackade Buster they tuck tail and sail home. Their reason for canceling....their afraid of "Israeli Threats." :thumbsup:

Not sure who is pro Iran. Sure ain't this guy. I am pro US and that's about it. I speak out against policies that do not serve our long term national interests and as such, I speak out against US double standards in international politics. The Iran case is pretty clear, although not nearly as dire or as threatening as some would have us believe.

I'll take your point on religious extremism being a major source of conflict, but you should recognize that the rise of political Islam is a relatively new phenomenon. A strong case can be made that the rise of Islamic fundamentalism is directly tied to the dictatorial governments in the region which we support. That, and the failure to address the Palestinian issue.

LOL....ya know, if people were to take a look at my early posts and my thoughts regarding the personal attack issue when the rules in here changed they'd find that I'm not a big fan of that rule in this area.......to a degree. Politics have a way of bringing out the "smart ass" in all of us.

If I recall right, I told a few different people in here that their momma must have took one in the ass to have a piece of shit like them.....but that was then and this is now. How's that for politics?

I hear you. My apologies for any offense. I refrained from personal attacks for a long time. This is the first moderator intervention I've seen despite the fact that personal attacks have been a staple in this forum. That said, I accept that my last posting went a bit far. I have always advocated debate of the issues.

No problem and it's good to hear about debating the issues. As far as the moderation in here I had to take a bit of a leave do to some personal issues with the do-right-brothers but that hopefully is over now. I'll be looking in here a bit more frequent so just a heads up to all.

One question Psycho, does this meant that I can't ask for an explanation from the user of this board who took my postings from two different threads and spliced them together distorting my views in the process? It's a fair question, no? I would appreciate a response to this issue.

HELL YES! I'd say the way to go though would be to start a thread regarding it instead of doing it in several threads...that could be perceived as spam. Also, by starting a particular thread it would bring the issue more to the front instead of being hidden in other threads. Likewise, it would be easier to bump up in case an answer was slow coming. Just do it in a civil manner and all is cool here.

Psycho busted me too and then gave me positive rep. I think there is one nameless individual who tends to incite more of the socially liberal, financially responsible members, and that leads to attacks because that individual dodges the real issue. And hardly ever discusses cannabis in their state or the nation for that matter. :twocents:

Well, I have been watching in here a bit and there is more than one and from different sides of the fence. One being pro Israel and the other pro Iran. Ya know, how the hell can we expect the people from that region to get along when members in here, ALL living in the U.S., can't even agree half way on matters.

Makes a person wonder if the 2012 theory wouldn't just be the best for good ol' mother earth in the long run.

It's easy to lob bombs and invectives. It's much more difficult to actually debate the issues.

Kind of like all those folk in the middle east. Isn't it ironic though that religion acts as the main catalyst for all the problems? Maybe if they all sat down at a table, lit up a fatty of some good herb they'd find out that they are all the same.....:twocents:
