Drug Test Question!!!

Ok I found out about 2 weeks ago I might have the opportunity at a really great job...I've had 2 interviews with this company and its most likely a job I'll have for the rest of my life. I will be getting drug tested soon as they said they'd call me to set it up.

The last time I smoked was 20 days ago and it was only 1 small bowl...probably 5-6 hits. Before that I had not really smoked in about 2 1/2 months...so in the last 3 months or so I've had 1 bowl...the last time being 20 days ago. I am in great shape, I played college football so I have a 6 pack and probably 5-6% body fat. I really only drink water and workout 4-5 times a week leaving me drenched in sweat and I also been using the sauna.

I know I'm probably overreactiong, but I was just curious if people think I'm fine to pass. I won't be taking the test for atleast week or two so that would give me about a month since I smoked. I also take B vitamins and creatine daily. I'm just stressing because its a job I'd probably have for life and my friend put in a good word for me to help me get this opportunity and it would look REALLY bad if I didn't get it because I failed the drug test. We'd probably fist fight over it.

And if anyone has any other ideas they think I should do to assure that I'm clean plz do tell. I'm willing to spend money to make 100% sure I'm clean.

Since youve expressed a willingness to spend some money, pick up a home THC test and test yourself so you have a realistic idea on where you stand.

When testing yourself, be sure to use the first urination of the day.


If your home test is positive, your only viable choices are:

a) Substitution (read up on the Substitution sticky thread).

b) Dilution (read up on the Dilution sticky thread).

Buy a home test kit and follow the above advice. I doubt you'll show a positive, but that's one way to find out, if you're that worried.

Ok, thanks I'll get a home test and give it a try in the morning when I wake up...Does anyone know if the drug tests you can pick up from your general stores like CVS are less sensitive than the drug test I'd be taking for this company?

For the initial screening, labs use basically the same assays as the home THC assay kits. Because they function on the same principle, neither are more sensitive or accurate as the other.

ok so I worked out really hard last night bcuz I heard it will push the THC into your bloodstream and I wanted to take the take home test as dirty as possible to make sure I'm clean. I ran like 3 miles last night and lifted weights then slept for about 8 hours and woke up and my first piss right when I woke up....I didn't take midstream or anything just right from the beginning and I passed. So guess I'm good to go....thanks guys
