    Using PH Down

I have stunted my plants because my soil had a too high of a ph 7.8. I have used lemon juice to get it down to 7. I plan on using sulfuric acid to make a ph down solution of 6.0, does this sound like a good number? another question how often should i use it.
If i get the ph to the right level do my plants have a chance of rebounding. they are 2 weeks old but look only 4-5 days old. they are blue mystic autoflower and I have spent a lot of money on seeds. please help. I have learned my lesson on using cheap soil. Is their any decent soil I could find at a big box chain.

    Using PH Down

    How big are the pots?

This will bring down the pH temporarily but it will bounce right back. It would take a long time to permanently lower the soil pH. A much better solution is to re-pot the plants with good soil. If they are in small pots now then great. If the pots are larger then you will need to use a trowel to cut a ball around the plant. This is a bit more delicate. Another approach is to let them dry out a bit, remove the soil mass from the pot and then cut out a ball around the plants using a large sharp knife.

6.5-7 is good for soil growing. 6 would be too low in my opinion, good for hydro(5.8 is the magic number) but too low for soil.

Go slow and make sure your have an accurate reading before you add more PH down. Sulpharic acid is strong shit and its easy to use to much.

I decided to drown the plants in a tub of water loosening the roots (did not have a very big rootball) and transplanted them into the same soil my buddy uses.
