Yep HotShot works good. Also just miss the plants with water, particularly rhe underside of the leaves and that will slow them down till the HotShot kicks in. In my experience the hotshot will kill 75% of them in the first 24 hours. Eggs hatch every 3 or 4 days so leave the hotshot hanging for about 10 days and then you should be able to bag the hotshot in a zip lock bag and save it for next time. Generally once you get spider mites you will always have them so be prepared.
