i remember back in 5th or 6th grade i had dare, that shit is bullshit, i remember being told drug dealers will go up to you and just offer you free samples of different drugs so they can get you hooked, ITS 10 YEARS LATER AND IM STILL WAITING ON MY FREE SAMPLES, MOTHER FUCKER.

D.A.R.E. is just another example of the myriad of lies we as a nation throw at our children. History classes teach us to make heroes out of people like columbus, though he may have been a fearless explorer, he and his crew were also responsible for the first recorded act of genocide. Marijuana is not some kind of deceptive gateway drug, tobacco is. kis find out that they were lied to about pot and they strt to think "Hey why not try heroin or crack, they can't be all that bad either."
When it comes to sex we don't outright lie to our kids but instead we avoid the entire subject and just tell them to stay away from it. A lie of omision.
This country will go far the day we learn to stop deceiving our own children and enguage in open and honest forums about any subject of intrest.

Ahhh DARE is great. You can still be a drug user to enjoy the DARE program.

I think that if the truths of drugs were actually taught to our children, we wouldn't have been this mess anyways, but the lies and propaganda are like disease, spreading into every truth and fact. It might be a bad analigy, and I might be a bit wrong though, That's my thoughts on the matter. Truthfully, if a dealer came up to me and offered me samples of his drugs, I'd take some marijuana and shrooms, hahahaha. And maybe some peyote if possible, lol.

They said marijuana can give you cancer, and make you retarted in my health class. no offense, but i don't argue with authority with weed... because they're getting paid to say it... even if they know what they're saying isn't true. it's hard to explain, but you make yourself sound like a stoner ( you'll get called to office to talk to principal ) when you say that. I keep weed to myself, and friends.

But DARE didn't help me at all, once my friends used it... i researched it and i havn't trusted a cop since.
