T5, HPS, LED Closet grow.
Alright so im back in the closet again and this time Im gunna LST and Scrog.
I have them Under a 4 bulb t5 fixture right now that they seem to love. If you get it close enough it works really well. They are outgrowing it however and I am going to put my 250 Watt MH in the room to veg them for another couple of weeks. As soon as i gather some funds, i will also be purchasing a 150 watt LED light from STR8outtaweed and using it along side my 250 HPS. I am really anxious to see my results becayse I will be using a combination of T5, HPS, and LED during flower. About 500 watts total.
Here are some pics of a couple of weeks ago before I started training them.
I have three Purple clones, and one mystery plant that I got from seed. It came from some straight killllllleeerrrr herb that i got a couple of monthes back and I was so happy to see some seeds in the bag. If its a female, im gunna clone it and keep it around. If its a male them im gunna isolate it in my other closet and get some pollen. Im gunna breed it with my Purple strain just for the hell of it. Who knows, maybe it will be a good mix.drudown11 Reviewed by drudown11 on . T5, HPS, LED Closet grow. Alright so im back in the closet again and this time Im gunna LST and Scrog. T5, HPS, LED Closet grow.
some pictures i took today.
The Purple strain I have is really branchy and loves it when i bend her over. Things are starting to get crowded under the T5's I need to bring in the HID this weekend. I will also be transplanting into five gallon pots this Saturday.
Last pic is of my new strain. Hopefully its a keeper.
I might go organic on this grow(i havent used any nutrients yet) but was wondering if its really worth it. I know it will taste and smell better, but if its going to dramatically reduce my yield I dont think it worth it, Any Thoughts?

alright so i added the Metal Halide in there and Transplanted into 3 gallon grow bags. Theyre starting to bush up quite nicely.
I plant on switching to flower in maybe 2 weeks. I gotta order my LEDs soon so i can have them in time.
Im suprised at how well theyre growing because i have only giving them nutrients once. I almost feel like Veg nutrients are a waste of money if youve got big pots and quality soil.

I use Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Its not cheap, but Ive used countless other soils and they all had Nutrient defiency or PH issues after a while.
To be completely honest Ive used Miracle grow soil with pretty good results. People like to fert the shit out of there small vegging plants when they have 3 gallons of soil theyve yet to grow into. Plants need to use the nutrients in the soil before you give them more.

i re organized the room and added a 171 CFM fan in the mix. By god does that thing suck, all of my heat issues as well as odor issues are gone. No carbon filter needed. The things is overkill, as it sucks the plastic door off!!! I have to create an intake hole before i flower and re seal it all.
I re potted them, re LST'd them, and dipped them in Great white Mychorrizae at transplant. I will be pulling my plastic screen over pretty soon and starting to train them more.
So i dont have the money for the LEDs this time around, so im gunna make buy some cfls and make a little reflector. An added 100 watts of red light during flower will only help. I will be using MH to control stretch for the first 3 weeks of flower, then switching over to the HPS.
Still no nutrients, except for silica.

alright so i made a 84 watt cfl fixture. I have the warm 2700k bulbs that give off 2,600 lumens a piece. I switched the lights to 13/11 a week ago and im already starting to see little hairs popping out everywhere.
I gave them a slight foliar feed with Purple maxx the other day. I flushed them clearex before i flowered them and will start them on my bloom nutrient schedule asap.
Things are starting to get very big in here. I am gunna keep the MH bulb in there for another 7 days in order to reduce the stretch. I will then use the HPS until the end.
One of the picture shows how i lollipop the plants and trim off the bottom. It doesnt grow into anything worth while anyways so i consider it a waste of valuable nutrients and energy.
Keep in mind that i never topped this plant or fimmed it. All i did was use LST and veg for 4 weeks.
