    Thirsty Plant

I am about 3.5 weeks into flower. One female in a 3 gal pot. This plant is seriously drinking a gal of water a day as I can tell by the weight of it the day after I water it. Is this normal? I am concerned on feeding her to much nutes so I was wondering if I should just giver plain water between waterings. I have never seen one plant drink so much. Any thoughts?

    Thanks :stoned:

What are the temps and humidity? How tall / big is the plant? Yes, plain pH adjusted water between feedings. Also, what happens if you don't water it? Does it start to show stressed or drooping leaves?

Temps are a steady 78 to low 80s. Humidity is very low if any at all. She is pretty tall about 4ft easy. Yes she gets droopy. However, it only happened once. So I have been giving her a gal of water with nutes then the next day when the lights go on I will give her about 1/4 to just under a 1/2 gal then the next day a full gal etc etc repeat. Feeding with reg phd water no nutes between waterings is what I should change to. So I appreciate the feedback on that. All in all she looks kick ass. It is sweet tai. I have grown from the same seed pack but for some reason this one has exploded in height and I havent done anything different. Light distance is right on top doing the hand test. I have fans blowing on her so I am sure that contributes to her drying up a bit....

    Much thanks

Same seeds different phenotype. I say clone that one! It sounds to me like you are doing everything right and this one is just a drinker. You should look into the humidity issue. You want it at 50% (+/- 5%) until midway through flower and then drop it down to 30% (+/- 5%) for the end of flower. The drop in humidity helps avoid bud mold. Dog for bid.
