Hello!

I recently became interested in obtaining a medical marijuana recommendation for migraine headaches. I've tried several prescriptions since I was a young lad (4 or 5) and have decided that I could benefit instead from an alternative treatment.

However, I'm considering going into medicine or a similar field and as such I'm worried that if I WERE to visit the doctor and grab my recommendation, the record of such could become public domain in the future should that doctor happen to fall under scrutiny. If that were to impede my future, I would be utterly beside myself.

Picking the right doctor, however, seems to be somewhat difficult. I'm looking for a reliable MD in the Bay Area with whom I can consult for a modest fee (the cheaper the better, but I understand that you pay for quality). If you all have a suggestion I am ALL EARS! : )

As an ending note, I do have a prescription for Sumatriptan nasal spray (reads that I should use for a 'headache', I'm slightly concerned the doctor will get the wrong impression), and a sample for Zomig I was given after I determined that the Sumatriptan was ineffective. Obviously it was similarly useless for my condition, as I never followed up with a prescription. I currently have no records regarding any other previous prescriptions OR neurological examinations, as I have since moved across the country; will this be a problem?

Thanks!
