Forty-eight years since its been this cool in the Pacific Northwest. And the East Coast and the South are cooking early in June. :thumbsup:

Yes, it's real. Are we responsible for it? NO WAY. The volcanic eruption that just happened spewed more pollution into the air (and is still doing so just like the broken oil pipeline,) than we've done in the past century.

See the evidence? The last thing to effectively block out the sky like that was the Industrial Revolution, and even that wasn't as bad as the volcano. You don't need evidence, just knowledge of history. St. Helens, Vesuvius, the one in Iceland which I cannot spell, those three combined have dropped more carbon, nitrogen, and other particulate matter into our atmosphere than we have EVER come close to doing.

We've only had real industry since after the dark ages. Those volcanoes were spewing pollutants WELL before we were ever here.

As I said, no evidence needed, just a decent history knowledge and some common sense. I'd list off other volcanoes but those were the most relevant ones, oh and then we can talk about the Tunguska meteorite which was 1/3 the power of Tsar Bomba, the most powerful thermonuclear device ever detonated.

Sorry, nature has hurt itself more than man ever will, unless we figure out how to crack the planet in half or totally wipe out our oceans.

Volcanos have the power to alter the earth quickly. However they eject (by weight) @80% ash. The ash has enough weight to settle to the ground ,though it may take many years to do so.

Greenhouse gasses we produce do not fall to the ground. And we make a LOT of CO2. We are dumping it out faster than the plantlife and oceans can use/handle it.

The thought that 6 billion people currently on this earth do not have the power to alter the natural environment is foolish.

Shit, what differerce does it make though? By the time it goes to hell, all of us will be dead. :thumbsup:
