Hard to really find the answer to this. Are there any legal consequences that my parents would face if Im a mmj patient growing at their residence? I live in Washington.

A search warrant filed with the court to raid their house and point guns at them...at that end, hope they have a will from the heart attack their goaana have when this happens..

Is that enough??

Marijuana in washington is "ILLEGAL" !! PERIOD!! It is only an "AFFIRMATIVE DEFENSE" to criminal charges "ONLY!!

I would stay away from norml info my self...personally..at least take it with a grain of salt.."HERE IN WASHINGTON STATE"!!

Any time you grow, posses cannabis L. sativa in washington you subject yourself to the judicial system jurisdiction of the courts, because it is a strict liability crime...no defenses, so the courts say. Only an aff. def...at least for now this is the way it is...things may be changing soon.

Yeah my parents know, that's one of the reasons for this post is to find out if they are liable for my actions. I understand the burglaries and armed robberies that have happened of late, and also the over the top approach cops are using. But that isnt really why I posted here. In Washington, if you possess a mmj card, stick to the regulations, you should be ok right? My post was for my parents safety reguarding laws, I wouldnt put them at risk if it they could lose their house.

It depends on which county you live in. If you are in King, you won't have much trouble. We do only have an affirmative defense that prosecutors use legal gymnastics to subvert the will of the people and convict you. All because the law was never clearly defined and giving immunity to patients rather then just an affirmative defense. Face it the law is unjust allowing criminal charges to be brought and then your doc in the box says you didn't renew when no renewal is need by the law, and you are invalidated or unauthorized. Some greedy people writing authorizations and failing to back them up unless you pay them yearly. :wtf:
