I am going to just start with a mother plant, get her large enough to get all the clones from, and get it rolling. Couple weeks before harvest, clip a fresh set of clones and get them ready for the system the day of harvest.

Shortening the cycle is an entirely different matter. Flowering immediately from root onset is about as short as you can make it go, everything else is dependent upon the strain.
