Help with my glass pipe...

Well I'm thinking about going into town again and buying one of these pipes:

The bad thing is that It's gonna cost me about £4 to get there...

some people think that metal pipes are ok....cause they are generally cheap. But I personally think they are crap! no offense! They get too hot when you smoke them and they make the weed taste like metal. I love the taste of my ganja and don't want it ruined....i say glass all the way! You can find glass pipes for just as cheap, but if you spend a few more dollars, you can get a quality piece that will last you for years and years! :jointsmile:

I don't see what the big problem is it is a interesting piece, but looks flawed. that doesn't mean you have to toss it its still a piece as in a piece of art. I would use a bigger screen or trim the screen or even crumble a screen as a plug screen. might not be the best but I see nothing wrong with it. the design is flawed in my opinion in it has no evaporation chamber to cool smoke rapidly which means all the way through the pipe will get warm and the smoke will be warm, but there are ways around that, put a small ice chunk in your mouth and I bet it will be a pleasant smoke. I think it looks cool, just funky

looks dont always mean function man,why go thru all the hassle of using it if you cant get an enjoyable experience from it. While its a great lil piece for the collection thats about all its good for.

I agree,I dont really like metal pipes either but I have one. I call it frankenstein because its made from pieces of about 4 different pipes to make it even worth using. I originally got it to use in my car,and I rarely use it anymore nowadays.If you must use a metal pipe and you dont want your hands to get hot,get a piece of airline hose(the kind used with air compressors)just make sure the inside diamter is the proper size and slip that over the stem piece you hold while tokin' and your hands will be very happy.:jointsmile:

I tried my friend's metal pipe once and I didn't get high of it, then again if I remember right I didn't take that many hits... However, if I got the chance to get a glass pipe instead, I would get it (hence why I got this one). But apart from the one I bought, there was no other glass pipes in that shop so I guess I have to get the metal one =/

Lets not forget as with any glass piece,you will want to protect it while your not smoking it,so grab a good pipe case too. I prefer the Vatra brand ones.They have every style you can ever want and alot of colors and patterns. I have one for every piece in my collection including bongs and water pipes.:thumbsup::jointsmile:

Ooohhh, those pipes look nice =D And my friend thinks the pipe I have is an opium pipe... Which I don't really wanna try. =/

Yeah I agree,and they are very nice pieces.they are driven by quality of their products. I have at least 4 of their pipes and each one is really awesome.
