great show, thanks for posting this. I thought they made some good points like ultimately it is the rhetoric of the pols, and those that vote for them, that is responsible for this. We can't have a "war" on drugs and then arm our local police as if they are going to war and not expect this to happen.

And, accoding to this, these SWAT raids happen hundreds of times every day. it is standard operating procedure today to send SWAT teams into family homes, killing their dogs in front of the kids. What was created in the '70's as an elite team to handle an already violent situation morphed in the '80's into this what is today: terrorists fighting a jihad on herb. :wtf:

The reality is that this is the way we've been executing search warrants nationwide for ALL crimes in the USA over the last few decades. Back in the eighties we didn't use special teams to carry out most search warrants but we did conduct what we called dynamic entries as a matter of course on drug searches. No helmets, flash bangs, or automatic weapons but we entered loudly and with force kicking in doors and pointing our weapons at people as we secured the premises. And yeah, sometimes dogs got shot too.

All in the name of catching them "drug crazed criminals", cough, cough.

Things have been out of hand for a long time now. It's madness.

just to be clear, I don't personally blame these individual officers for this raid or any of the other officers in the other 100's of raids like this that happen everyday. they are just doing their job as safely as they can.

I blame the reefer mad pols who will not differentiate herb from say, meth or crack, the people who own them like loose change in their pockets and continue to profit year in and year out from them and the maroons who continue to vote for them. these are the terrorist driving this jihad on herb. :twocents:

So in your mind it is somewhat justified to utilize these types of entries risking the welfare of children and everyone else present against folks who like to use cocaine and/or other drugs now and then?
