I ent no pro but this is how I'm gonna do it from what I have read.
You need rockwool cubes a mini green house, somthing to to cut and some sort of light (cfl)
pre soak your rockwool in ph water for a min of 12 hrs then place in mini green house the you want to cut your clones from your mother choose a good branch with 3 nodes and cut, then cut the lil branches off the bottom node place the bottom of the stem into a tray of ph water and cut at a 45 degree angle then dip in to your powder and place into your rockwool but put a small hole in the rockwool first ,also cut the leaves in half as in the same way your hand would look if you cut your fingers off at the knuckel sorry for the image your thinging of now but you might of just cut down the center of the leaf it I didn't say any thing.
When all your clones have been dipped and cut you need to spray them with ph water because they don't have a root system yet they take in water throu there leaves you need to spray them about 3 times a day
now they are all done place the clear plastic cover on the mini green house and get the cfl as close to them as you can on a 18/6 cycle.
Make sure you cut the stem under the water so you don't get an air bubble going up the stem cause that will kill her.
Hope this helps if I'm wrong someone will correct it

You've pretty much got the idea, which makes me think that your clones are dying not because you're cutting them wrong, but they aren't getting environment they need once they are cut. edit: (durrrr on my part, OP wasn't the one that posted clone instructions)

I've been told by just about everybody who regularly takes clones to use a gel instead of a powder hormone. Never an explanation why, but maybe somebody else can clarify that.

I followed this guys instructions, and these things are inconceivably badass for both starting seeds and getting clones rooted. Cheap too. I happened to have all of the required parts at home already, the only thing I had to pick up with an airline splitter for my airstones (I didn't have the cool perforated tubing).

Biggzy25 wrote" get the cfl as close to them as you can " move that CFL at least 12 inches away....brite light will stress ur cuttings.nor should you mist the cuts....it can cause tip rot and mold....only spry the dome. rockwool cubes , peat pellets ,seed starter mix,and just about anything else thats light and airy can be used to clone in just keep the temps right [70 to 80 degrees] and the humidity high[90+]

hey id like to apoligize for the late replies and stuff on all my threads but im back. i clipped em from the bottom branches. used the powder. tried the foliar feeding with just water. they looked like shit after 2 weeks but they werent dead. yesterday i cut the cup away and holy shit roots everwhere! so if ur new to cloning like me dont get discouraged with all the info out there. all i did was : 45 degree cut from bottom branches, 4 nodes down, ripped the last node downward, dipped it in powder, threw it in a peat pod, made a plastic dome outa a jug, used regular menards flourescent lights and got roots!!!! im really sorry about no pics because they did look like hell!
