Name My Band

okay guys, so me and my band have been playing for roughly 2 months...we have 3 songs coverd and 4 of our own orrigional songs....we have a show coming up but we dont have a name yet...we decided to progress musically before worrying about a name....help me out if you have any ideas

my bass players uncle says "Spook The Herd" but he was drunk and so were we so its just a joke...

We went through this same problem a while ago.. It's really fucking hard to think of a name that you all agree on if youre consciouscly trying to think of one, so either just put it on the back-burner and it'll come to you one day, or think of something that has something to do with your band, your music, your friends, where you live, your interests, hobbies, etc..

My band went through loads of different names, and none of them sounded right.. they all just sounded wrong.. So eventually we came up with 'Misnoma', and it stuck..

An error in naming a person or place.

Application of a wrong name.
A name wrongly or unsuitably applied to a person or an object."

See what I mean? It was relevant, so we stuck with it.. There's no point in calling your band something that somebody else thinks up, coz it wont mean anything, you know? Unless you just want a completely random name, i dunno

we have a show coming up at a local club where local bands play, but famous bands play there too like finch ahs played there...eve 6 has played there...sugarcult has played there...ect
