Shov's Summer 2010 Grow
I put the four outdoor plants into 3 gallon bags and now have 18 plants under the 400 watt light (with 216 w of sidelights). I used the garden soil mixed with peat moss, but it was still very, very dense and heavy. I just hope I didn't carry any undesirable bugs or anything indoors with it. So far so good.
The Afghani Dream x BOG Medley buds are all red haired but the trics are all clear still. I'm betting on them finishing on week eight. The Z11 x Neville's Haze are coming along slowly but surely. They may finish on week twelve. Z11 is a indica dom hybrid but the mother Z11 for the seed was the only sativa looking offspring ever. It looked 100% sativa. These plants have a few different looks. I'll try and get some photos later. :hippy:
All in all, the plants are not as large as usual but they are ok. There are enough of them that the total may hit one pound.

Basically its a bag, but made from stuff like the "weed blocker" fabric you put under rockscaping or mulch in your garden. It breathes really well,... too well in some peoples opinion,...(great for heavy soils) my blueberry is in a 3 gallon smart pot,... needs about 1.5 gallons every 2-3 days.

thanks for the tip...that's a lot of water for a 3 gallon bag? How much are these smart pots? The plastic bags are .20 ea.
This is the first time I used top soil in a bag or indoors. Everything just grew so well in this composted soil this season that I thought I'd continue with the soil when I moved indoors for the Fall. I'll try a smart pot sometime if I find them in the nursery stores.

They're kinda spendy compared to the .20 per bag ($5-6) but compared to local pricing on plastic buckets its reasonable, and the advantages IMO are worth the cost.

These are just about done. They are almost eight weeks into bloom and show about half cloudy and clear with a number of amber trics as well.
Here are som bud photos
