I am quite familiar with a standard SCROG.

I am wondering if anyone has experimented with a very tight screen (oh, say 1/4" squares or finer) or glass or plexiglass to limit growth and allow the lights to be almost on top of the plants with no chance of the plants growing into the light.

Obviously some light would be lost but the canopy would be more even than the best SCROG.

On my next grow, I might try a two screen system just to see what happens. I would do a standard scrog, then in flowering, add the finer screen say 3-4" above the primary screen with my T5s a few inches over the secondary screen.

Thoughts? Too much work?
