My CFL growbox
So after much research and threads on here I finished my grow box and started the project. I picked up some Purple Kush and Blue dream clones (one of each) at my local dispense and set it up. Its been about a week and the clones are looking healthy and are about 7 inches tall (pics coming soon).
I have the box well ventilated with a fan that pumps air in and out through a carbon filter. For lighting I have
2 1650 lumens 5000k CFLs
2 1650 lumens 2700k CFL bulbs
1 4200 lumen 2700k bulb
for a combined total of 10800 lumens in a 2x2 area with a space blanket over the front to preserve light.
I plan adding another 10,000 lumens soon would that help?
I water them 3 oz each every two days with a small amount of grow nutrients and root booster. So what do you guys think?

Looks good. I'm no pro, but I would definitely get the lights closer to your tops. I try to keep my tops about an inch from my 26 or 42 watt CFLs, and I have only had the tiniest little signs of heat stress (usually when they actually touch the bulb).
Don't just move them that close all at once though. Move them over a couple day period to allow your plants to adjust.

I completely agree. CFLs need to be within a few inches max of the plant. CFLs dont put out alot of heat but if they touch the bulb it will definitely burn. Bring the bulbs down around the plant and you will do much better.

Try to add a little bit more water.. about 8-10oz.
Adding another 10k lumens would help out alot.
Looking good so far. What strain you growing?:rambo:
