Is it time to force flower yet???

Also, if you can, go with a higher-end bulb, like the Eye Hortilux Super HPS.
Think that would be fine. I have read the 400watt jump requires fancy cooling. I am growing in a 2 car open garage in Seattle where it really never gets hot in my garage. I would say it holds 60-75 degrees year round?

Now to just find the best deal on the complete fixture set and I will buy. So HPS or MH? Guess I am still not clear on that.

2 plants every couple months would be fine.

    Thank you!

Perfect. The bulb that comes with it will be a run of the mill HPS bulb, but they'll grow well under it. Do try to invest in a better bulb, even if it costs $50 bucks.
Also, you should use the LST / Supercropping method to keep them short / bushy and you should have good results.

    Thank you!

Your temps should be fine unless we get some of those 100+ degree days like last year, then there is no way around it. You dont need a fancy cooling system, but your still gunna need a way to circulate and venitilate air. If you dont blow the air out of your garage somehow, its gunna stink your garage up during flower. Personally i love the smell of marijuana, but the police dont, even if you have a medical license. From what i can see, being a MMJ patient in Washington only means you have an arguement in court when they hall your ass to jail! Your gunna need a good fan too in order to circulate air and make sure your plants develop sturdy stems to hold the big old giant nugs you wanna grow.

Your getting a steal on that liight. When you plug it in your gunna see a DRASTIC improvement in growth. I would hang the light a little higher than normal when you first get it, the light is alot more intense than with those flouro's and you could burn them before they get used to it.
