    Rough Transplanting..Need Help!

So some how I forgot to put hole in the bottom of my plants container so I transplanted it to one that I poked holes in. But since this is my first grow ever the transplanting went a little bit rough, any tips to help it recover?

any other tips for a beginner would be very much appreciated:thumbsup:

    P.S.
Since I got fired recently i'm not really in the position to buying good equipment, extra nutrients, etc...

First off, what in god's name is a "high mid"? Jargon around here for that sort of thing is "bagseed".

Second, you say it went a bit rough. What do you feel was rough about it? Is the picture from before or after transplant?

Gotta bust ur balls over the "high mid" thing, don't take it personal. We hear that sort of stuff around here all the time.

    Welcome to the boards

I felt it went rough because I couldnt get it out of the first container easily and it wasn't a fast or very gentle process. The pic is a couple minutes after I transplanted it.

thanks for the reply and like I said any tips/information is appreciated even terms

If it still looks like it does in the pic and it's hours later you should be okay. It looks like a fine young little seedling to me.

My personal opinion is there is nothing you should add to your seedling except water. I'm not telling you to go water it if it's moist already, but I wouldn't hit it with any nutes yet. Likely that if it did get stressed, adding nutes will further aggravate that stress on such a young seedling.

Hang in there for a day or 2 and keep us posted.

Also, if you can get some airflow around the plant, just enough to jostle it a touch, not enough to shake it vigorously, it will encourage the stem to bulk up a little quicker. Defense mechanism, if it doesn't need strong stems, it won't put as much energy into it. If it's shaking about just a tad, it'll interpret that like it needs a sturdier stem to stay alive in it's environment.

Nothing but plain h2O until the cotyledons start to turn yellow. The cotyledons are the little rounded leaves that you see when the sprout first pokes up thru the soil. These contain all the nutrients the seedling needs to get it to the 2nd leaf node or so...

I put a little 10$ fan in room and it seems to give it pretty good air circulation and I'll post some more pics in a couple days.

    thanks again for the help

is it dry? It looks dry in the pictures, but i'm not sure.

You can bend a long twist tie or something into a canelike shape and use it to prop it back up.

If it's dry, water it asap.

    Let us know.
