    tired of crappy dispencerys

i hate to say it but ill be happy to see some of the dispensary's go. there are many that i know are run by good people will be affected and possible shut down. i will be sorry to see them go. but all in all my dispensary experience has been nothing but disappointing. Ive found half of the herb being sold as medicine is crap and almost all clones i see for sale is crap. my medicinal card application was rejected because the dispensary i went to did not fill there info out right. most bud tenders i meet don't give a shit why your there or care to try to find which medicine will suit your needs best.
maybe with 70% of the dispensary's gone there will be 70% less "legal drug dealers" (cause that's all these shit holes are) out there and hopefully this will encourage the growers and care takers to quite being so stingy with there genetics and offer decent clones or reliable seeds to private growers like my self

    LOL @ the replies

Look, bottom line is that there are some places with downright terrible meds who don't know what they're doing and don't have patient's interests in mind. My contention is that these places will have gone away in due time just because of the natural business/market cycles. The majority are either simply people who want to open a small business and see a booming market and find some skilled growers/vendors to provide or they're the people who should really be involved, namely the army of skilled growers who really know their stuff and care about the product and their patients. Neither of those groups are bad people, and both of those groups are getting nailed by HB 1284, so I think your disgust and quasi-celebration over 1284 and the closures that will result is misguided.

On that note, I was pleased to see a "For Sale" sign on the worst dispensary I've ever been into, the place that charged $60/8th for DJ Short's blueberry with powdery mildew on it and refused any kind of refund or compensation... the not-so-aptly named "Wellness Center of the Rockies" on W. Colfax. I gave a fist pump of glee the last time I drove by and noticed that. Score one for the good guys in that case.

You know what I'm going to agree with you and I don't care what the rest think.

You are the consumer and they better start listening to you guys instead of telling you to **** off.

But I'm going to add one more thing, there are plenty of shitty growers out there that need to be shut down as well.

I have this feeling that the general public feels like you do and is very unhappy with how MMJ is being handled. A lot of young cocky kids were making a lot of money these past few years and giving everyone a bad reputation.

However I'm very unhappy with this bill and feel like they are messing with our rights. Let these places fail because they do shit business not because the state wants to shut them down.

i was against HB 1284. i wrote my Senates e-mails, letters, i made phone calls, i did all that was in my power. the dispensary that i frequent the most is already feeling some harsh repercussions from all this and i feel really bad for the owner as we have become good friends. but how many times did i get ripped off till i met him. and now i have to try to re-apply for my card after giving my money to a dispensary that botched the paper work. or even worse if i cant get my card because of the new laws i have to go back to daily chronic pain or start popping government regulated heroin again. i disagree with the new laws but i wont miss all these dollar chasers ripping of good people. on another note i live in longmont and maybe i haven't been to every dispensary in this city but ive been in enough to know that my choices are way to limited

You have every right to be angry, I think dispensaries and growers forget that those "sick people" they don't think could possibly help them in November; voted in MMJ as well.

what growers are you guys talking about?

as for the clone scene - you are right. IT's tough.

BUT, you CAN get seeds in dispensaries here in CO and you can order seeds online. Please do, grow some out, pick the best female, and get some good cuts out there.

I do agree. many of the dispensaries suck ass. There are some good ones... but I've had some shitty luck with the one's I've tried in Denver. There are some nice ones in the hills (Ned/Ward and surrounding) See: Grateful Meds, Brown Mouse, THC and Boulder has some nice ones too.

Interesting fact - I've talked to 2 other growers besides myself that sold all of their extras this week - to patients who are fed up with the dispensaries. Good thing, too. I kicked for the electric bill and had to re-up on nutes. Non-growers are pretty clueless about how much it really does cost to set up right, and for ongoing supplies. (yea, I do think Advanced Nutes are worth the price

smoke 'em if you got 'em! :rasta:
    Colorado patient grower. :rambohead:

I can't use names, you probably wouldn't know them anyway; I do love GratefulMeds and Rocky Mountain Herbal.

I'm so happy to hear patients are getting there meds from you guys. Thats what we needed more competition not the state stealing from us, trying to take over.
