I suffer from PTSD, and the militaries standard treatment for this is massive amounts of antidepressants and bensodiazipans (klonopin) along with some strong anti-convulsant to counter act against the antidepressant.

Now the militaries antidepressant of choice is effexor XR, one of the strongest you can get. I was up to 375 mg a day, and even at this dose the effects were starting to loose their punch. At one point I resigned myself to the possibility of being stuck on effexor the rest of my life.

Since I received my card, I have been using cannabis to titrate off effexor. I started in March. Now in June I have already went from 375 mg a day to 225 mg. I have tried this before without the aid of marijuana, and by the time I got down the 225 mg I started hating life again, started loosing sleep, my depression started coming back. My anxiety was also creeping back. I alway had to go back 375 mg just to save my sanity.

My reduction now has been much quicker with no side effects. Every 75 mg I drop, brings my feelings back closer to normal. I also find myself forgetting my night time dose of klonopin without even noticing. I give it 6 months to a year, and I will be clean of all this man made chemical crap I have flowing through my brain now.

I have resigned myself to the fact (with pleasure) that I will be taking the natural medication given to us by the earth for the rest of my days. Life is getting better.

Good for you dude, Cannabis is the best Anti-depressant we know of in my family. Despite decades of propoganda, Cannabis will not make you suicidal and what not, modern anti-depressants will.
