Mothers for cloning
In the next couple of week's I'm setting up a mothers for cloning (cheese & Super Lemon Haze) not from seed but from a clone, I'm going to be using a dark room 120 tent, 90w LED or a fluorescent light.
I have a couple question's -
1. Can some one till me should if it's ok to be using a LED light or should I be using a fluorescent light for the mothers.
2. If I'm correct the light should been on 24/7 a day to keep them in the Vegetative Stage
3. Will it be ok to be using the same light for the mothers & with the Clones that are in the propagator.

1. LED lighting would work but doesn't penetrate very well and mothers tend to get big which would make them real lanky, I think it would be better to use multiple cfls or a T5 (seen some nice grows with T5's)
2. Yes you can keep them in 24 hours light for vegatative stage. 18 on 6 off would work too or anywhere in between unless you have an autoflowering strain or very light sensitive strain.
3. You can use the same light but clones dont need too much light before they are rooted and in pots so I would keep them further away unhtil they have developed a good root system and in pots.

Thanks Michaelpeg,
I'm going to for the Maxibright cfl pro reflector & for the 150w Eco-light cfl lamp.
The Eco-light cfl lamp is Available in Red, Blue & Purple which one should I be looking at for?

I have no idea about the purple cfl's so to play it safe i would go with the red spectrum, better for flowering. I would also get some smaller cfls both red and blue (low kelvin for red and high kelvin for blue) for the lower part of the plant later on because as the plant gets bigger the 150w wont be able to penetrate all the way down to the bottom.
