In the early part of the Bush Presidency. (you remember Bush Right IB,?) Dick Chaney met with a bunch of oil company exeutives (BP included) in a series of closed door meetings. They went to court and won the right to keep their names secret. In those meetings the oil companies wrote their own rules for energy production. Bush said no problem, and the wishes of the energy companies became law, under his watch.

This thread is a week or more old. In that time we have seen Joe Barton (R) Texas offer to give Tony Hayward a BJ on national television. Or just about. We have seen Darell Issa (R) CA explain that if Republicans had sabpoena power they would use it, not on BP, but on the White House. And lets not forget Michelle Bachman (R) Crazytown that says Obama should not "shakedown" BP.

Hell IB, last week you Republicans have royaly shot yourself in the foot. Each time the media asked "did s/he just say that? And in that week the electorate realizes that Republicans are owned by Big Oil. You ,my friend, are bought and paid for. Each day your mid term victories are slipping away. So I can understand why you are so shrill. Not only do you have Bush to live down, now we find out that the oil companies come before the people in your world.

Anyway the reek of desperation follows you. And remember Reagan was still blaming Carter in his second nomination speech. I think we will get more mileage out of Bush than you guys got out of Carter. A lot more.

Anyway IB feel free to ignore this post (like usual). We have grown to expect nonsense out your party. And Nancy, feel free to correct my spelling. If thats all you got, than thats all you got.

Have a great day all!
I kind of have to agree with Nancy a little. Its awful strange with the timing of the short sellers and the fall of American Airlines and others days before 9/11, and now with the BP as the more notable. To me, where there is smoke, there is fire. Just look at this disaster and Big Oil is written all over it. Is it also coincidence that 9/11 and 4/20 are both significant numbers that have a specific meaning in our culture? I see insiders pulling this crap, and its all Big Oil the center of the web. The Usual Suspects are in the newspapers and news all the time.

The Presidents inexpierience and modest political background is on full display for all the world to see. Thats why all our enemies are so emboldened at this time....they KNOW he is weak and in serious electoral trouble. Rating: 5
