Most Ethical Congress Ever to Gut Ethics Office

Lawmakers seek to gut ethics office - Jonathan Allen and John Bresnahan - POLITICO.com

Nov. 3rd is gonna be the funniest day in a long, long, time. So much for the post-partisan, post-racial, delusions of 2008. This administration is a bunch of amateurs with NO expierience........like crazy Cheney said....."these folks haven't got a fucking clue."

Island, you need to learn to read, and not blame a single person, administration, or political party for something everyone is doing. They are all in agreement on this issue. Both sides. Repubs and Dems alike.

Next time you want to place the blame on Obamas administration, make sure the article has somthing to do with it first. This is a congressional issue, and in case you forgot, the executive and legislative branches are seperate.

I'll agree all day that politicians are corrupt and stupid, but when you attack one side blindly with inaccurate facts, it just gets silly.

...cuz if they ain't out screwin' someone else, they be screwin' ever'budda...

And I prefer rookie, not-incumbent-and-therefore-power-mad politicians to the standard, 'garden' variety.

Seeing as how 3rd party candidates have very little chance in this country, just vote against the encumbent. You can stick with your usual party, just vote for soemone new. It will atleast help to bust up the good old boys club.

I'm going to vote against every anti-cannabis person on the ballot. If both are antis in any one office, I will write in a candidate even Donald Duck, Mickey and Minnie Mouse. And I'm absentee voting.

Yeah, I agree, that is a good idea and seems to be what is actually happening so far. beat them at the primaries if at all possible.

Its tuff here since we can only vote in the primary of the party we are registered for, zero if you are an independent, like me. :wtf: I might have to register this year, just for yuks.

Bump: Well put. Constructive debate and a clear examination of the issues is always a good thing. Partisan sniping using ONLY one sided sources is useless.

^ point of info . . I'm not trying to speak for Island here or anything but I think what is refering to is the joy that he, and many other Obama voters, will enjoy this Nov. Their first chance to send The President a Congress of the other party. imp: I can relate to this, after voting for Bill Clinton in '92. :stoned:

    Go U.S.A !! :rasta:
