    Go U.S.A !! :rasta:
Now, now, let's be totally honest here. There is plenty of blame to go around from both parties. The GOP isn't a bunch of choir boys either. Yes, more third parties are needed. I hate to say it, but it works in Europe more times then no. The key is to root out the corruption and keep the new comers honest. We need a public financed election system where all interested parties, PACs, and the rest all contribute to a common pool, equally divided between each and every candidate. This would give new parties a level playing field and keep the money grubbing motherfuckers out of it.

Boaz, for someone so quickly disenfranchised by Obama, I am surprised to see you going back to giving the republicans power, especially since for about the last decade, they have run our country into the ground. The republicans had their turn, I say give Obama at least till the end of his term before spouting outrageous expectations at unreasonable timetables. If Bush got 8 years of clusterfucking without being booted out, give Obama at least half that before we start calling for his head.

And let's not forget, when Bush / the neocons took over we were not at war and we were running surplus.

Legalize, I should probably clarify, I wasn't really speaking for myself when I was talking about sending Obama a repub congress, I was just describing what I think some other people who voted for him might be experiencing right now. But, personally I've never been a big fan of having two branches owned by the same party, in general. There needs to be balance. kinda like a mexican standoff.

Personally, I voted for John McCain. Obama is the polar opposite of me politically. but, that said, I was actually impressed when he stood by his word to honor state's rights, specifically to the MMJ issue. :greenthumb: He is still not really my cup of tea but I agree, he's not nearly as bad as Bush.

Bill Clinton left us with a surplus, something we had never seen in my life time. that was pretty cool. too bad he was such as scum bag, otherwise he had a pretty good run. but only after he was sent a repub congress. But, that congress also went ahead to try to pass a law where anyone caught with 2 oz's or more coming across the border would get the death penalty. so, yeah, be careful what you wish for.

So, in summary :rastasmoke: I'm not really a repub or a dem, either, I generally vote for the crooks that I think will do the least amount of damage and try to balance them out so they are basically in a clusterfuck.

I'll give Obama props for the MJ states rights issue. I'll also give him some love for his handling of Iraq and Afghanistan and the his increase in use of drone attacks anywhere anytime in the world......heads up jihadi's.

Ya see.....contrary to the loony lefties popular beliefs round here.....I can find some common ground with Obama. I also think he's an amazing father who spends alot of time (for the president of America) with his kids.

The lefties gotta admit though......the President throws like a girl.:hippy:
