are these thrips?
well since i got my new indica clones, im starting to have bug problems. i believe they are thrips. i need to know what would be the best organic way to kill off these lil bugers? should i get neem oil and start spraying or is there a better way to rid of these bastards? i have to move fast cause they somehow got into my flowering room and ive noticed some fan leaf damage on some of the girls. any expert advise or someone who has dealt with these bugs before, would be greatly apreciated.

are these thrips?
cmon guys i need to know if neem oil is the best way to kill off these lil buggers. ive never had bug problems until now so ive never used neem, but hear it helps slow alot of bugs by throwing off there ingestion system, and keeps them from getting to adult stages where they then reproduce. i just need to know that it is effective on thrips by personal experience cause i dont have the money to waste on products if its not the most effective method of getting rid of the thrips....thanks for any help

according to the book Organic Marijuana by Soma he states that Neem oil and California ladybugs are the best organic method for your bug problem. you can buy California ladybugs online and they are fairly cheap. the Neem oil you just spray on the leafs with a fine mist sprayer bottle every 3 days until the fourth week of flowering. you will be 100% free of any bug problems. such as, spider mites, thrips, white flies, root gnats, aphids... so I believe that's your cure for sure.

thanks 420. so i went and got some dyno neem oil, 100% neem. and wonder since it doesnt say anything about not spraying after 4 weeks into flowering, if since my girls in flowering are at 4 weeks exactly, is it still alright that i hit them now with the spray or is it realy to late to spray? i should be alright to correct, up untill the last week when i flush?

Ya, no problem man, just spray the underside of the leaves....Careful you don't get the bulb with overspray.
I like neem up to 2 weeks before harvest for any bug infestation. Of course prevention is better than retroactive killing. This time of year here in WA, you need to be making sure to use Neem on the veg room as the spider mites are due soon, with all the rain, it could be an interesting season.
I know you got this with the plants, but also spray outside and around all the corners of the room with something like Sevin....do not get it on your plants it will kill them too. I a way serious about mites, I learned the hard way and lost a whole flower room to the buggers.

The neem oil will work but it's messy and needs to be done several times.
The best thing and organic for thrips is pyrithum and can be applied a few days before harvest. Doctor Dooms is the best but any all pyrithum bombs will work. Thrips are easy to get rid of. Hope you don't get two-spotted spidermites.
The next best thing I found was Azamax. It is the concentrate of neem oil. Easier to work with and more effective than just neem oil.
