T5 Box
I'm trying to set up this closet with T5 lights. The closet is evenly divided already so I will be using the top as a veg chamber and the bottom as a flower chamber. I'm concerned about ventilation though. The closet is surround on three sides contained in an air conditioned room. The closet is cool because the room is cool, but when I stuff the bottom with 10 or more 24" T5's, how hot is that going to get? Do I still need intakes and all that?
I'd like to think of this as tent as it reminds me of those tents I see in the grow stores. If I packed one of those smaller tents with T5's, does it still need constant ventilation?Prodaytrader Reviewed by Prodaytrader on . T5 Box I'm trying to set up this closet with T5 lights. T5 Box
Something else I wanted to know: are all T5's created equal? I mean given square inch per output and so forth. I was thinking of buying a bunch of cheap T5 strips at HD. I could seriously cram a lot of those 24" T5 strips in my space and inch for inch would probably do just as well as one of these 400 dollar Sun Beam what ever's I see in the Hydro store. The only different in those is that the bulbs are longer, right? If anyone had that kind of space to begin with, wouldn't you just use a HPS system? At any rate, are the T5 strips worth going with, if I bought like 10 bulbs worth along each side of my box. I mean, think about that for a second, that's like 30 T5 24" bulbs, that's a lot of lumens, right?
