why i think ghostoker would be a decent mod

woah! Thanks, notanovice! To be honest, when I saw the topic of this thread, I was expecting you to be being sarcastic! lol

I know we've disagreed in the past, and yes, I can definately be an arse sometimes, but i'm glad that we can put that behind us! This next joints for you, dude!

As for the judgements things - I can make my fair share of bad judgements, too, like everybody else.. but we're all human, right?

And as to be being a mod - If I was asked to do it, then I would do it.. I'm out of work at the moment again, so as you can tell, I have a lot of spare time lol I would have alot of time to put in to being a mod, and hopefully i'd do a good job..

Unfortunetly, I don't think i'm what they're looking for in a mod - maybe i'm too opinionated, maybe because i'm not scared of arguing my point, or maybe because I seem too irresponsible? - so I dont think theyre gonna ask me to do it, even though i'd love to

If you had mod powers..would you use them against me..in an attempt to silence my voice of conservatism and traditional,conservative,Christian values ?

I realize,that my values and beliefs,seem to be out of place,in a forum like this..where most folks believe..that if it feels good-do it..without regards to the consequences..a voice of traditional values,personal accountability,moderation and reason..can ,at times,be in sharp disagreement..with a forum like this one..so - I'm curious,how would you deal with me ?

I told Lulu,the other morning in chat,that I wouldn't make a good mod..because I'm too old-fashioned..I actually expect folks to be respectful of each other,not use profanity,treat all women,as ladies..and so on. Silly me...lol. I do believe,that we all have the right to express our opinions and beliefs..no matter how much I disagree with them..lol.

Another aspect,that del mentioned,is the access to and handling of,sensitive information..most younguns,break pretty quickly,under pressure from cops..would you be steadfast..and protect our private info,as best you can ?

I'm not attacking you,you may well indeed make a good mod..I just want to know more about how you would handle your duties,if chosen.

Thanx for them kind words man I think that you make a good point,that it might be good,to have a mix of young and old mods.

In my opinion, you'd make a good mod.. I said so in a similiar thread to this. You may think you're 'out of place' in this site, because of your traditional values, etc, but I think in the long run [nearly] everybody on this site wants the same things - peace, understanding, somewhere to share our experiences without any hassle.. I think you'd be completely fair, and you'd take the responsibility seriously.

As for myself, If I was a moderator of any website, I would NEVER ban anybody for having a differing opinion to my own, that would be ridiculous and completely go against my beliefs.. It would be a rare occasion to see me delete a thread/post, also, unless it was inciting hatred, violence, etc..

As for keeping private information, I believe I would be able to do that.. But you never know til you come accross it, I guess..

you're not a conservative torog. you're a 'liberal', at least you vote for them, and you consider giant government and record budgets and deficits and open borders and the FTAA to be conservative.
