Boulder County to hold meeting tomorrow Tuesday
BOULDER â?? Boulder County residents can chime in Tuesday morning about where they think medical marijuana businesses should be allowed to operate in the unincorporated areas outside the countyâ??s cities and towns â?? if anywhere at all.
The Board of County Commissioners will hold a 9:30 a.m. public hearing and may take action Tuesday on proposed Land Use Code amendments that impose new regulations on such businesses.

Good news for warehouse growers in the designated zoned areas in Boulder County, they lifted the 500ft restriction. They have zoned it for light industrial areas. They rejected agriculture but for businesses already operating in Ag zones will be grandfathered in. They also promised to revisit the issue in the future. And they put everything into effect immediately effective today, so that folks can meet these deadlines. Way to go Boulder County for not shooting yourself in the foot.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

It does allow residential grows for personal use and Caregivers to oprate as a home business in unincorporated Boulder County. I think they acted responsibly since every county surrounding Boulder County (Except Gilpin) has opted out completely.:thumbsup:
