Hi all i'm new and in some serious need of help at a first time grow Iv got big bid x White widow well did have now my problem is claw leaves my kids are about 2 1/2 inch tall and they have 2 leaves about an inch but both leaves are shaped like the golden arches at mcdonalds I did choose shit soil to start them off the stuff didn't drain that good at all even a week on the soil was like mud in the 1 litre pots I now have put them in bigger pots with john innes perlite and sand I removed as much of the muddy shit as I could befor I repotted are they gonna die so shall I just pull the plug or is there any hope for my girls

at a hope of bringing them back they are now under a 600w hps 24/7

Bit of a long shot but could I trim the claw leaves to force new growth to the top or am I just pissing in the wind

Give them a dose of Superthrive. 1/4 tsp. to 1 gallon. If anything's gonna help, it would be that...or so that's my experience with shit dying on me, and me bringing it back.

Dude, you need a GOOD soil-I use Foxfarm with guano etc--no feed needed for the first week or two--stones in bottom (1/2") do not overwater--make sure of good drainage--water in a container to moisten soil then remove the moistened soil to put in your containers--gently press soil around plant and use a wood dowel to check for moisture before you water, push along side of container to bottom looking for excess water BEFORE you water each time--no sand, no clay, go buy some soil at a Hydroponic store to insure sterility and quality--try to stay from regular nursery soils--they won't do ! Good luck & buy a growers guide with your soil!!! If you want quality weed, you MUST use quality soil and nutes !! Grow on dude and good luck !:wtf::jointsmile:

I didn't over water I used to spray them with rain water why they were seedlings then after the first week I put 70ml in each 1 litre pot but it never dryied out so I had to repot my new pots drain brill I tested one out befor I repotted I poured half a litre of water in to a ten litre pot of my new mix and most of that came out the bottom and the mix still has a sponge feel to it even after I added another 2litres to it to ensure it was all wet ph of mix is 6.8 wish I could post a pic I'm gonna be using bio bizz nutes if I get that far is the hope for my girls or not?

"clawing" is a classic sign of under feeding.

The plant is literally "sucking" anything it can out of the soil.

a limp plant is often over/under watered.

Someone suggested you use superthrive to heal them, great advice.

I suggest EVERYONE use superthrive on ALL their plants.

and if you really wanna grow trees, use some Liquid Light and Saturator from Dutch Master.
