Dr. Vigil, "I'm not inclined to...."
He's not "inclined" He is busy screwing with people's lives who are suffering and in pain because he doesn't feel "inclined" to add more producers.
Unbelievable.
"He fears growers will produce 'excess' marijuana and be tempted to sell it to nonregistered users."
That's because California and Colorado have no screening process for conditions like New Mexico. Anyone can get Medical Cannabis. All you need is a doctor's recommend. You don't even need a card in some places. Just show the recommend. With a fast and loose system like that, of course you're going to have people taking advantage of the program.
New Mexico isn't like that and he needs to f*cking realize it. He's using any excuse he can NOT to approve new producers. It's purely a political ploy.
Why isn't Richardson doing anything about this? I thought he said he was "going to look into it."
I hate politicians. Especially those pretending to be doctors.

Too bad that he is appointed, not elected......I certainly wouldn't be "inclined" to vote for him.

Sadly, the only thing that seems to get many medical doctors' attention is when a family member/loved one gets sick. Suddenly they (the docs) want more than what is offered by the medical establishment. But not until it touches them personally.

"Health Secretary Alfredo Vigil said he worries the drug cartels over the border will get anxious about medical marijuana cutting into their profits. "Itā??s inevitable we are going to start bumping into each otherā??s territory.ā??ā??
"Vigil, the Health secretary, said he lacks the manpower, and the inclination, to rush into approving more centers. Thirty applications are pending.
He fears growers will produce "excess" marijuana and be tempted to sell it to nonregistered users"
Like I said no man power. If he would get off his chicken hearted ass it would move along just fine.

That is a dumb, lame ass excuse too. There are provisions in the law that disallows selling to nonregistered users. So if they find one they suspect of selling improperly, they have recourse through due process of the law. His "fears" are not good reason to erect roadblocks to new dispensaries.

I agree. It concerns me that he seems to fear alot and stands when he should be helping this program reach those next goals?

Vigil needs to become a Doctor and worry more about the patients and let Law enforcement take care of the drugs on the street. If he thinks the Producer/Growers he approves are the type of people who will sell excess MMJ on the streets he should not approve them.
Vigil continues to prove to us that he is against the NM MCP.
Moron!
