I know this thread is stupid and a waste of most peoples' time but I have seen some truly troubling posts lately.

If you take a urine test (or really any test for that matter), DO NOT START SMOKING AGAIN UNTIL YOU KNOW THE RESULT!!!

If there is any, and I mean ANY uncertainty that you failed (and seeing as you are on cannabis.com I think we all have some uncertainty) you shouldn't start smoking again.

I work in a lab and know some of the interns who get stuck doing the drug tests, a shit load of people test "Diluted" meaning they will be retested typically. Most people here use the dilution method to pass so most people here accept the inherent risks of needing to retest. Unfortunately, some posts also suggest most people here simply head home and light up as soon as the test is over.

To quote myself from a previous thread; A ton of people test dilute, a ton of people get falsifiable positives and a ton of people get retested.

Sadly, a ton of people fail these retests because they lit up in between tests.

I've taken a shitload of premployment tests in my life;

I have had some times when I tested clean with see-through urine (didn't really know how these tests worked when I was a teenager). I once tested dilute, I had never smoked weed before at that point and just took the test as normal.

That being said, NO ONE can be certain you will or will not test dilute, it's all about your individual metabolism and what intern or lab technician is doing your test (they all have different opinions of what constitutes 'real urine' and who they will/won't give a dilute to).

So please, DO NOT SMOKE WEED AGAIN UNTIL YOU KNOW THE RESULTS OF YOUR TEST!

This is coming to you from a biochemistry major so I really do have a handle on what I am talking about. Please don't be as dumb as some of the people I have heard about were.

as I was telling a friend the other day, a drug test you know about ahead of time is not really a drug test. It's a basic intelligence test. many fail.
