Last night I watched a documentary on History Channel International titled Apocalypse Island. And if you haven't seen it, its about a rock formation on an island off the coast of western South America, that this guy believes is a monument built by and for a Mayan King out of a volcanic formation, and will be a place where the end of time will be visible. It involves this Mayan king, the decline of the Mayan culture, the Mayan calendar, and the alignment of the earth, Venus, the sun, and the middle of the Milky Way (Black Rift) which is considered the center of our universe.

There is more to it then this, and it is an interesting theory. But, it truly is a stretch that it will be the end of the world. Some scientists have equated some catastrophic events in time, that are cyclic and involve nature and natural events and this celestial alignment, but I doubt the world will end.

Can't wait until Dec 21, 2012 when this big show is expected to happen. The eclipse that is supposed to occur and the alignment can only be seen from this area on the Pacific, will it prove god? I doubt it because god doesn't exist. Watch the documentary if its your thing. Apocalypse Island, Channel 271 Direct TV. You be the judge. :smokin:
