Mixing the spectrums is a good idea. When I use CFLs I always mix it to give the plant a more complete spectrum of light.

Iry is right... over watering is one of the biggest mistakes. When the soil is dry and you pick up the pot you will know.

I also agree with Iry on the light green to dark with fast growth. My plants have always given the lime green almost yellow sometimes growth. The girl I just started flowering now comes out of the dark tent looking lime green as shit with new growth... 12 hours later when shes ready to go back in the dark tent she is all dark green.
