thanks for all the helpful info

yes there are about 10-15 holes in the bottom of each cup

growing fast being the culprit of the discoloration seems highly likely; they have pretty much doubled their foliage in the past day or so

Day 9... I knocked one over this morning and it came out of the cup; all in one piece thankfully. Anyway, the roots had circled the bottom of the cup about 3 times, and there were roots all the way around the sides as well.

Long story short, I transplanted them to the 6in clay pots; should hold em for a few weeks till 3gal.

I watered them just enough to get a few drips out of the bottom of each pot after the xfer. How long does it usually take for them to stand back up?

Give them three days before you worry. Are they on nutes yet? I'm guessing no but if so, no nutes until they recover from the stress of transplanting. Same goes when you put them into the three gallon pots. I'm thinking they can go to at least 12" before they need to go into the three gallon pots. They should have plenty of room to stretch their roots now, and you want them to have some root room through flower in the new pots. Some people have recommended burying the step 1/4 - 1/2 inch during any transplant. I have not tried this myself though.

thanks for the info... no nutes till Monday, then im just going to start the fox farm schedule at 1/4 strength.

would the plants benefit at all from (1) 2700K bulb during veg?

Additional light never hurts... OK at some point it becomes redundant. Throw in the additional light.

Can I just buy those fish tank drops and use in my water to adjust the ph and remove chemicals ect? Is that safe for watering plants with, im pretty sure my ph is too high on my water, but i don't have a test kit.

any ideas or info would be great, thanks guys

Mixing the spectrums is a good idea. When I use CFLs I always mix it to give the plant a more complete spectrum of light.

Iry is right... over watering is one of the biggest mistakes. When the soil is dry and you pick up the pot you will know.

I also agree with Iry on the light green to dark with fast growth. My plants have always given the lime green almost yellow sometimes growth. The girl I just started flowering now comes out of the dark tent looking lime green as shit with new growth... 12 hours later when shes ready to go back in the dark tent she is all dark green.

I dont think the fish drops are the best idea...

PH is critical when growing cannabis, wether hydro or soil. A proper PH test kit with up and down is crucial. Also a PH pen is much better than test strips or color drop testing...

When you begin to mix nutes up it will discolor the water and be impossible to take accurate readings via color drops. If you arent adjusting your water then it most likely is too high if its tap. Light coloration with dark veins can be attributed to PH imbalance.

You can get a cheap milwaukee ph pen on ebay for $20 or less. GH ph up and down you can get in a bundle also for cheap.
