Is there any way on these forums we could have a sub forums for the stickied threads so we don't have to scroll all the way down.
I run a major football team msg board and this works quite well keeping the front page available and as we get more stickied threads it will get even worse...
just a thought here on this...I wonder what some of the other regulars think about this ???

One sticky with a link to each shops thread. If every pos dispensary in CO had a sticky there would be 20 pages of stickies. Most of these shop don't even deserve a thread. Bunch of swaggers. I have to go half way down the page to find the first thread.

I think it's difficult for the moderators here to balance the vast amount of anti-MMC home growers with content but no revenue, versus the MMC's who are willing to generate revenue for the site via ads.

Personally, I'm torn. I have dealt with roughly two dozen 'caregivers', and every one of them said they grew 'the fire', but not a single one provided meds that were comparable with any MMC. Period. I'm okay with paying a little more to ensure that my meds are consistent. I guess I haven't found the right caregiver (homegrow).

Great idea; sub-forums for dispensary's to post their menu's would be great. I set up the sticky for them on my own as a convenience to people looking for a provider.

I figured it would be the easiest way for a person to "shop from home". In many cases the person in need is also in need of savings; by posting menu's with pricing they can find the best deal without having to travel countless miles. :twocents:

Unreal! Hey, if you want to pull up an e-mail addy of somebody you don't know at all and try to do business with them on a personal basis go for it! Don't be surprised when you get to the home that you don't run into the Do-Right-Brothers or possibly something worse like a serial rapist or some shit like that. THEN you could come back on here bitching on how we allowed this sort of individual/s to advertise on this site. When a person/business has to publish its address and phone# in order to advertise it keeps things real.

It seems like you took offense to my post. I was just saying that you have a difficult job, especially with current events/legislation.

I'm all for transparency and I'm totally okay with MMC's being allowed to post their email addy's. There are ways to get in touch with people privately without posting a personal email address. Hopefully people will figure it out.

If your talking about the rep system it's a bad idea. We ARE able to check out reps and if this sort of exchange is found out it'll be a LONG time ban. The chat room is gone because of activity that shouldn't have happened; P.M.s are gone because of the same abuse. IF a member here wants to roll the dice in the rep system don't complain when the house cashes you out!

At no point did I say that this site 'takes money' from MMC's. I was simply implying that MMC's, by design, would be a better generator of revenue than private caregivers. It's just an observation, not an attack on this site. I don't understand why you think I am accusing this site of wrong-doing.

I'm only trying to be clear, here. How do you go from "WILLING TO GENERATE REVENUE" to 'accusing this site of favoring MMC's'. I don't think it's a bad thing that this site creates revenue. It costs money to run, so the site should make a profit. That has NOTHING to do with favoring a specific group of people over another. I apologize if that wasn't clear.

About the rep system, I have no idea what you are talking about. I was more referring to the fact that there are a lot of forums out there with different rules about posting info. That's all. If people here really want to get in touch with each other, they will.

I wasn't questioning the rules or anything like that, I was just making an observation. Again, I'm not sure why you seem so offended. I'm really trying to follow the rules, since my emails for clarification continue to go unanswered. Sorry.
