well keep it up and do some more reading on here man ill try and help ya out the best i can.
If there isn't holes in these cups, get them in now and the rain really wont hurt them as the luv the humidity. Only when budding you have to be careful of bud root, but as hot as its been the rain will not hurt them as the next day it will drain, get used or evaporate:thumbsup:

LetsSeeYa Reviewed by LetsSeeYa on . MI grower need some guidance So I'm 100% new to growing got a nice bud while back ago with some seeds and me and my buddies thought it'd be cool to attempt growing so we read up and I started the germination on 5/26 four days after I germinated them I was able to plant a few today I have 4 plants my largest shows 6 leafs 2 have clear cups taped on to with tin foil underneath for the extra 10% sunlight and humidity, so my question is now what. What should my next steps be? If it helps we've had rain the past three days Rating: 5

I topped one plant and fimmed the other By following this site

Fimming and Topping of marijuana seeds plants or cannabis clones

My smallest plant looks like it snapped I hope it's ok we had some strong winds I guess the other night soil looks a lil damp today so I just left em in the sun. Seem to be doing good I can see alot roots in the cups at the bottom

man it was way to early to top those or fimm them you want them to have 3 or 4 new sets of true leaves before ya do that

    Topping a marijuana plant

    1. Locate the very top of your plant and cut through the main stem just below the newest growth. This should be done after the 3rd or 4th leaf set but can be done at any time after the 3rd leaf set.

    2. Shows Plant Top cut off and where the 2 new Branches that will form a "Y" in the main stem will grow from.

    3. Shows the newly topped plant after 2 days of growth, notice the Y in the Stem Forming.

This is what i got off the site you posted, which is a great help:thumbsup:but im wondering what you cut of your plants as there isnt much there yet.

I would first put them in different pots/cups, because i didn't realize they were clear, my bad. Roots hate light, so it will stunt all your growth. Just take them out after they have dried out a bit and put them in something that will keep the roots in the dark. They will not grow if light hits them and you said you can see roots. Try and re pot them, but in the mean time cover the clear cups with a dark paper as darker color will heat up the roots which will make them grow better. And next time, its always better to have someone who has done the technique before to walk ya through it. Im not giving you a hard time, but only trying to help you to a successful grow and yield

Oh and just put some tape around the plant that broke, it will grow back. Iv taped a stem that bent in half before and in a few days its healed. Use masking tape or something like it

    Keep er green man

OH. I get what that ment now haha I thought it needed at least 4 leafs total on a plant to start topping. Man this is crazy. But it'll be worth it. I but duck tape around the clear cups to hide the roots

Great man:thumbsup:just keep us informed and you will get a great grow bro.

One thing i wanna point out is the fact that you said ya saw roots at the bottoms. This is a good thing as ya want them to fill the bottom, but then ya need to get pots that are not to big, but something bigger then what their in now. You can do this now as to be ready. Then just watch your plants as when the leaves begin to droop, you will need to re pot. Now if you look at them now, im sure the leaves are straight out trying to get as much sun as possible. When they begin to lower, while the sun is on them, this means stress, small but still the plant is telling you something. Also just water enough to keep them happy as you want to always re pot when your plants pot is dry. This way, you only need to roll the pot between your hands to loosen it from the soil, then put your pointer finger and thumb between the stem and turn it up side down. The plant should slide right out:thumbsup: Make sure you have plenty of drainage in your new pot. Perlite is great to mix with your soil if you can swing it, i got 5 gallons for 5 bucks at a nursery, but a must if your growing in pots. Oh, i hope ya still don't have that plant between your fingers, lol. Then just make sure ya put soil in the bottom of the new pot and put er in side. Then fill in around her and water. After awhile you will know when it needs re potting as i said the leaves will droop, and when they do, pot asap. Re potting is not stressful for a plant if its done like this, but stress can lead to males/hermies, so its best done right away.

When taking pic's, save them in a folder on your desk top, like '10 grow. Then when you post, click on the ''Manage Attachment'', its below were ya type in ''Additional Options''. From there ya click Browse and go to your folder and click twice, or once then add. Then click load. Its really easy, but after pics are up, you will get more traffic. And if ya need a fast question, feel free to post anything in my thread, its in here or on my Sig. ta da, that was easy

Oh yeah that will work:thumbsup:but if you have those big ass butter container, it would be better. But only because the bottom its flat and easy to put holes in it for drainage. But the two liter will work, just make sure you put a lot of holes in the bottom as they are sorta funky shaped, thats the only reason i mentioned the butter containers. Make sure the holes are at each dip and level. The reason is when you water and the plant doesnt use it all, it will make a pool of water an soil mix, so the roots don't get air so they die. But with holes at each bump under the bottom and each level your cool. Im not sure what type of soil your using, but iv put small gravel in to help with drainage, its important for fast root growth. If you look at a plant, what you see above ground is 50 percent of what is below ground. Thats why root growth is important and i keep going over it.

People have helped me and still do so gotta pay it forward bro

lol, Thats just what i grew the NL out in, but that was inside. You will get way more roots outside. The rain will help your plant, just give em a bit of cover if its like a down pour. When you water your plant, pick it up and feel the weight of the pot, then ya got a good idea when it need water again. The more ya do it the better ya get, but its the best way to know IMO. And yeah lots of holes and the rain will go right through it, they really like the humidity that comes with the rain:thumbsup:

If you could get pics up it would help us both:hippy:
