Going to Amsterdam for 4 Nights

Hi all I havnt smoked cannabis for about ten years I have arranged a short break to Amsterdam and I thought it would be a waste not to try smoking it again Im justafter coffee shop recomendations and what to smoke starting with a light high then maybe something little stronger further into the holiday. Any advice much appreciated

Honestly if it has been that long since you smoked go easy on the first joint or you will be too high you won't even enjoy it....You know when you get so drunk and hungover and say you are never going to drink again type thing, that is what you will feel like if you roll up a blunt of the WW, I had a steady supply of that when I went to school, bringing back memories.....

Dampkring is one of the best coffeeshops, they have 2 different locations. Little farther out is Kashmir, which is nice because they own a bar across the street where you can drink and smoke. Just tell the budtenders you haven't smoked in 10 years, I don't think they'll steer you wrong

Dampkring IS one of the best......good call. Also try the Bluebird Coffeeshop.

White Widow? What is this 2002? Try the Amnesia........blows white widow out the door. Although if you were traveling looking for the strongest pot in the world you'd be headed to California so who cares what ya smoke!! HAVE FUN and dont rent a fucking bike WHATEVER YOU DO!!!!! Just jump on the trollys.....they rarely check tickets and ya can travel the city faster for free.

Sigh. I gotta git me back there sometime soon. Whilst there for only 4.5 days, a coupla years ago, we managed to see something like 30-40 'coffeeshops'. The best of the best we saved, and rolled three huge salad doobs on the way back to the train.

Warning! The average shite there is good. The good stuph will blow you away, though I have had stuph on par with the best o' Amsterdam in Edmonton, Calgary, the BC interior, and Toronto. But it's gotta be good!

The ones I remember (gee, I don't know why, but my memories of Amsterdam are a little hazy... Grey Area, The Old Church, Stone's Cafe, The Grasshopper, de Dampkring (of course!), and Dutch Flowers. Still trying to remember the name of the shop we found the best NY Diesel in (iirc, was the house special, and soo strong that the guy next to me fell off the bench, absolutely catatonic

And you absolutely have to visit The Bulldog, the shop that started it all..!

Whats up man ! I was literally just there a few weeks ago (gotta love long university beaks). I would recommend the bulldog cafe if u wanna grab some wicked bud and chill..if u dont mind the bar right above. Dont be afraid of the big black 300 pound security guards (theyre gentle inside haha). The cafe has a wide selection of bud with descriptions right on the menu, if i'm not mistaken the further down the list the higher the potency (purple haze right at the bottom). The budtenders are outgoing, friendly, and are happy to lend out grinders, papers, and even lighters.

On the other hand, if u want a nearly hallucinogenic experience. Go to the grasshopper, buy a drink (even juice lol). And chill the fuck out in their lounge area. When ur done, head left... for lights, unimaginable food, laughter, and probs the best time of ur life.

I only smoked purple haze, amnesia, and white widow when i was down there (this time), so it would be best to confide in the budtender when ur down there, just describe what u want (sativa, indica, hybrid, etc, body/head/couch lock.......all those good characteristics u know
