Wait for card after state cashes check?

It was almost 120 days (4 Months) to the day from the time they cashed my check till they issued my Card:

I mailed my application 2/8/2010 received my card 9/17/2010. The number is in the mid 76K range.

Why are you guys being so hard on the Dept of Health??

They only have $9 Million in the bank! How can they afford to hire more staff to process these cards faster with those paltry funds??

Hopefully they will raise the fee soon so that Ritter can raid their account to balance the state budget.

My stats: Application submitted last March. Check cashed a few weeks ago. No card yet. Thanks for the info guys - silly me - I have been eagerly checking the mailbox daily.

those paltry funds as you so eloquently put it was used to buy a 100 keys so when they get to work they bring a bag out and get ripped(the real reason it takes so long to get your card) and squandering the rest on politcal luncheons, rubbing shoulders with societies elite and debaucherous orgies in the conference room. truly charlatans of the highest caliber. dont even get me started on the raising fees thing, im sure they only have a pound left and that wont last long

My Card arrived today, application mailed the end of January, check cashed Mid April, 2010 & issued 9/1/10 good till 9/1/11

Submitted mine March 25, 2010 in person at CPDPE w/ a Western Union money order.

Yesterday via mail I my got card dated Sept 27, 2010. It is valid until Sept 27, 2011.

Took almost exactly 6 months.

Bty: for those that do not have an actual card yet, it is an 8.5" x 3.5" certificate (sort of like a car title), that has creases in it to allow you to fold it up into business card size for your wallet

Over 100,000 based on registration numbers on cards.

The money they sank into the registry is paying off now. They're issuing cards at a record rate and are supposedly opening mail the day of receipt.

sent my app in begining of February, received card last Monday dated 10/16. Number has only 5 digits starts with 117, and is preceded by MMRA.
