I know that leaf yellowing is a normal part of plant growth as long as it is at the bottom of the plant. However, since a yellowing leaf is dying anyways and will eventually fall of, is it best to just cut it off so the nutes and plant energy is focused only on new growth further up the plant?

Will cutting off the leaves at the bottom shock the plant or slow growth temporarily?

Any advice or suggestions please.
