    quick fix 5.7 concerns

im sorry about all the posts but for some reason i am still VERY nervous about this drug test and the quick fix. ive been thinking it over and over and ive come up with one thing that i could see being a problem......making sure the urine is the right temperature. how hard is it to get it to the 94-100 range and keep it their. i keep having a mental video of me going into the bathroom and the temperature being to hot and me not being able to cool it down or its to cold and i cant heat it up. more so im scared of it being to hot because i heard it doesnt show up on the temperature strip if the urine is to hot.

here is what my plans are:
i heat the quick fix up for 10 seconds like it says then i strap the heat pad to it, put it in my crotch area and then leave for the lab corp place. it will most likely be in my crotch area for about 15-45 minutes depending on the wait. im scared that with the heat from my crotch area and the heat from the heating it will heat it up to much higher then 100 degrees.

one other question is how long does it take to heat the heating pad(hand warmer) up?

im sorry for the long post and all the questions, its just that im going crazy here thinking about all the problems i could run into.

Ive had some warm up pretty quick, like say 20-30 min and others took longer. Don't worry about fouling up the temperature, it is acceptable between 90-100 degrees. A good way to warm your test cup up if your temp is not satisfactory, is to rub your thumb vigorously on your pants and hold it to the temp strip until you reach the desired temperature. To cool the sample down, just blow on the cup after you pour in the urine. When you think is satisfactory, walk out of the room and hand them the cup.

should i be ok if i let the heating pad heat up for about an hour then heat the urine up for 10-12 seconds, strap the heating pad to the urine and then put it in my crotch area. i probably wouldnt be able to take the test for about 45 minutes. should the urine still be warm enough after 45 minutes of waiting since ill have the heating pad strapped to it?

again i am very sorry for all of the same BS questions, im just worrying myself sick thinking about what can go wrong.

Yep, your body heat will take care of the rest.

    quick fix 5.7 concerns

so i went in today to take my drug test. I did what the directions told me and put the bottle in my pants. I went in filled out the little bit of information i had to and basically went right in. I locked my stuff up in the lock box and went in the bathroom. I whipped the bottle out and poured it in. I checked the temp on the cup and it was at about 100 degrees so i blew on it a little bit just to be safe and i got it down to 98. I gave her the cup and she checked off the temperature between 90-100 box and poured it into a vile and put the label on it. After that i was pretty relieved.

2 problems that i did kind of run into but really were not a big deal obviously:

    1. when i got to the end of the bottle when i was squeezing it it did make a little noise, kind of like a bubbling noise.

    2. the woman marked a line with sharpie to where i needed to fill the cup up to and there was only enough quick fix to fill up to a little below the line. I was really nervious when this happened because i thought she might make me go back in and fill it fully up to the line but she didnt so i was clear.

all in all i think it went pretty well and now im just like everybody else, i just have to play the waiting game. i will post an update in the next day or two when i find out what happens.

Sounds like it went pretty well then. I hope mine goes that smoothly. I am taking my test Thursday.
Which bottle did you get the 2oz or 3oz?
Thanks for your questions, reading this thread has been very informative.

well i didnt know this until you asked and i checked but i have the 2oz. i guess thats why it barely filled up to the line.

and yea i think a lot of the questions other people will have, im glad they helped.

but for you man, you will do fine. just try to keep as calm as possible. i know it may be hard but you dont want to go in there shaking like i almost was.

keep us updated on how it goes and ill do the same.

    Thanks!
I will most definitely update on the outcome, this site is very useful and its the least I can do.

I had read on QF's site that you can reheat the urine as many times as you want. So does that mean you can do test heats on it to see how the temperature holds. That would be great if I could heat it tomorrow, see how it holds the temp, then do it again Thursday for the test. But it does say reheated with handwarmers and doesnt say anything about microwaving it. Not sure if that matters or not. Does anyone know the answer to that by chance?
