    lighting help!!

right now were going off a 75 watt sunglo lizard lamp i know thats weird. but do you think that would suffice for one plant that has a pot by 1 foot by 1 foot. and we were also thinking of getting a 250 watt ceramic light for when it gets bigger whaddya think? and i have one last question...... We kinda mixed cronic and kush seeds when we were germinating. 1) how do we know the difference between them and 2) does cronic grow like kush . TNKS!

Can't really comment on your current light without knowing it's color rating (Kelvin, eg 3500K) and lumen output. But, a 250w HPS would be much better suited for sure  I'd get that 250w asap, just make sure to test it without your plant there to see that the temperatures don't get above 85F, better to be in the mid-high 70's though.

I'm a little confused about first having one plant to grow, but you planted multiple strains? There might be some ways to tell them apart, but probably depends on the quality of the seeds. There's info about the different breeders and strains and their phenotypes, etc all around the web, just have to do a little digging. If the seeds are from an unknown source, good luck

    lighting help!!

thanks man, but i kinda switched it to outdoors right now but since in my area theres only 14 hours light im planning on taking the plant back under the light after the sun goes down every night for 4 hours so the plant gets 18 hours light and 6 hours dark. will switching the plants scheduel at 2 weeks old send it into shock?

unless I'm confused on the terminology here chronic = kush and vice versa.
kush leaves are smaller and rounder looking in appearance and easily stand out in a crowd.

you can see the leaves of other plants right around it, they are very distinct, all Kush.

switching the light cycle at any age can shock them and you might get herm's even switching to 12/12 is a shock. This can be reduced with dim-able ballasts and a gradually shortening light schedule over a week period
