*growing one plant* Indoor-personal use
The plant i intend on growing is gonna be: Stuff new release auto flowering - Auto Assassin
Heres some info on it incase yall wanna know:
Type : Sativa dominant Auto flowering hybrid
Height :2ft.
Harvest : 8-9 weeks from seed
Yield : 15-40g per plant
Indoors/Outdoors
Effect : BOOM you've been assassinated!
Potency : 9/10
Geting back on topic. I plan on growing one plant for personal use. Yield is 15-40g, so i am hopen for a good oz. Kinda pumped that this strain is Sativa dominant because all the stuff floatin around my way is couch-lock city. Also suprised me-4 a sativa dominate plant it only will be 2 ft. with some nice yields. This is important beacuse i live with more people then myself. I am trin to be as descreat as possible and keep it on the low. The plant will be grown in my bedroom. I dont have a closet so i prob will throw it in a fare corner. I do have a lock on my door incase you were wondering.
So the question is:
what size light should i use? Its only gonna be one 2ft tall plant.
And if i go with a CFL light will it take care of the smell during buding? I know its only one plant, but i dont wanna draw any attention.
So basically,my question is on lighting and odder control for just a 2ft plant.
Also open for suggestion on soil! I know a lot of people make there own mix. I only got one plant to grow so that option prob isnt the best for me. Kinda looking for a prebaged mix i can pick up; that has been used with success ofcourse.
If anyone out there can help me out...please feel free to give me your input. This is all new to me, and this will be my first grow. THANKS....Russ86 Reviewed by Russ86 on . *growing one plant* Indoor-personal use The plant i intend on growing is gonna be: Stuff new release auto flowering - Auto Assassin Heres some info on it incase yall wanna know: Type : Sativa dominant Auto flowering hybrid Height :2ft. 6 plants of autoflower will likely fit into a 3x2 space. You can get a single 400w HPS and it will light everything sufficiently. You will also need a can fan and carbon filter to control the odor. Soil, go with something akin to Roots Organic, pre-mixed with buffers and organic nutrients. Been used by many with success. You will also need to do some research on additional nutrients if you want them to yield to their potential. So, that comes out to around $1000 worth of equipment and supplies.
Suddenly the $30 book doesn't seem so "out of the question" does it?
If you want the nice people here to help you out, you have to show that you are capable of helping yourself as well.

***one more thing to add***
I'v heard that some time with autofem seeds you can get soome transex.
Is this a common thing. Should i be worried about it if the plants are some what close to eachother? Has anyone had this prob bfor, or should i be g2g?

Whats up?
First of all... Yield depends on basically everything you do. No one can really tell you how much YOU can yield. Since you obviously dont know much (not being mean), you should expect your yield to be very small. Before you plant your seeds you should do alot of reading. The more you read and observe some of the very good growers on this site the better! I would start with 1-2 and if they live to a successful harvest then plant the other 4-5.
I am currently growing automatics and I can assure you the smell, even from one of them, is anything but small.
How did you plan on growing it in a corner of a room? Were you going to control the climate of your entire room? What about the bright ass light?
Not sure what you mean when you asked if a CFL will be enough for your odor... There are special CFLs that do nuetralize odor but they are not good for using as actual flowering lights. Has something to do with some science or another :P
Its alot more difficult than you have convinced yourself... Good luck!
