Switching them to flower is sometimes judged by yield expectations and grower space- know your plant will possibly grow atleast double the size it is now. Im sure you will get good tips in here as there is alot of weed gurus.

Depends on your space and expectations. But as this is your first run I say, yes. Flip the lights.

ok thanks guys. 1 more thing could any1 tell me why 1 of them in double the size of the other, considering ther both exactly the same age ??. Also i have what it looks like pistils coming out of each section or bud site.

There starting to cross over one-another, sort of like a X. What does this mean

Both of them will at least double during flower. The cannabis plant stretches during flowering. Node spaces get bigger, stems elongate, and tall plants can shoot to uncontrollable heights if left untrained.

Both plants are going to stretch, the bigger one is just gunna stretch more.

when using seeds there is going to be some genetic variathon among the plants. Some may be tall than others, some may have wider lieaves, some may turn purple during flower. t\
Or it could be that the small plant got stunted or stressed in one way or another.

Your going to have to post a picture of the pistils in so we can get a good look at it. Hopefully, you have a female on your hands. Male pollen sacks looks like clusters of balls. Female pistils should have hairs coming out of the creating a V shape out of the pistil.

Ill post a diagram that should help you determine the sex
