I would not, the plant transpires, and lower humidity helps the plant do that. Just maintain water in the pot. I know they say higher humidity, but I work on lowering the humidity and in the summer when it is lowest is when my plants do the best.

Another 'nay' vote here. Especially when in flower, where the higher humidity and heat will promote mold.

I would say that low humidity is not a bad thing because with low humidity you also decrease the chances of mold and bacteria getting at your plant. My humidity is around 30%-40% with lights on and my soil is moist, my cousin use to grow his plants outside in nor-cal, and his plants flourished in his backyard in summer time, when the humidity is relatively low.
IDK who started a higher humidity the better but as far as I am concerned it is not exactly true.
I vote low humidity is best, regardless of what others might say.

i use a cool mist humidifier... if i dont my humidity is in the high 20 - low 30s when i use it it creeps into the 40 - 45% range whitch from what ive read is right about where you want it. none the less im not as expierienced as these other guys so id say "yay" pending on how low your humidity is to start, but like these guys said already too much can be a bad thing as well.
the cool mist wont effect your temp at all maybe even bring it down a degree or two but it also wont raise your % through the roof... mind you im only on my second grow and these guys above me probably know a little better. just wanted to add my two cents.I\'m a full blood warrior ready for change, recongnize any soldier thats doing the same. Because i love who i am, and that means every thing to me. My life aint worth a damn unless im dealing with reality. when i look myself if the eyes it just me and i aint gotta tell nobody no lies i feel free!

Thanks for the input, my main concern is heat it gets up to 95 + and it has stunted my plants growth.

Humidity and heat is bad, bad, bad. If the roots get over 85 the plants will stop growing I am told

Gee...I hope not, lol. Yesterday was 94 degrees (ambient) in my flower room. (with the a/c on full) Once they acclimate they're fine. But the higher the humidity, the harder they have to work for transpiration, gas exchange, and temperature control. Plus, there's the aforemtentioned mold issues...
A little about plant transpiration:
