Micro SCROG closet grow
Feminized Black Jack plant, a little over a month since planting. been under a 150W HPS (15000 lumens) as well as two localized 42W CFL's (2600 lumens each).
Green Lightnin' nitrogen rich fertilizer every other feeding, organic soil, 18/6 light cycle. The middle of the screen is tied down in slight bowl shape and also prevents plant from pushing screen up.
Fairly large carbon filter attached to 4" inline fan in series with medium sized silent (6 dB) PC fan. Only PC fan is on during dark periods 11AM-5PM. Enough circulation to prevent odor leaks but the louder inline fan is also turned on during light periods to help keep heat down. So perfectly silent during day, odorless black container in my closet.
I'll update as the girl grows up, maybe just a few more weeks of veg. My first scrog but 4th grow. Any advice? Comments? Thoughts?submast3r Reviewed by submast3r on . Update
One week into flowering. She's stretching out really. This is my first SCROG so much more trial and error than I usually like. Hopefully I timed the flowering right but I'd rather be undergrown than having a huge beast of a plant in too small of an area.
Again, any scroggers out there please comment or offer advice.

Micro SCROG closet grow
Three and a half weeks into flowering.
I was out of town for the past two weeks so glad to see that my buddy trained the plant well enough and its still looking great. Needless to say he'll be getting a treat in a few weeks.
One odd thing is that I'm adding about a half teaspoon of ph down every watering just to keep the ph at 7 and still its not as low as I want it to be. I read that nutrients tend to acidify the soil over time yet mine is still relatively alkaline. Could it be my tap water that's causing this or maybe my soil? I bought an organic mix made locally at a greenhouse in town. Not a huge problem but interesting at least.
Think I'm gonna start adding some molasses to the water, I heard good things about that. When I hear about the huge lists of nutes that people add to their bud I get a little intimidated. Shouldn't a potassium rich nute (Fox Farm Big Bloom) along with some molasses keep my plant perfectly happy? Anyway, as always, comment on what you see. So far no one has responded to my grow log though

Whats up?
Doing a great job so far. Nice thick stem and good trim job. I have a small growlab tent that I believe is the same size. I use it for various things but never a scrog... I am curious to see how you do with it.
Have you had to leave the odor control on 24hrs yet? That plant will get stinky soon... unless its not an issue.
Only bad thing I see is that you are using the chicken fence that you cut bigger holes out of. I tried that once and I damaged alot of the buds and leaves from all those sharp edges.

Five weeks into flowering
How does development look? I feel like the buds are all a little small. Only halfway into flower though and the first 3 weeks were mainly stretch I guess :/

Only recommendation I'd make is to check the Fox Farms feeding schedule. I know that it's a three part system, and your results will be much better if using the full line per the instructions.
Otherwise looks good! The buds will look small in a Scrog even up to harvest. The surprise comes after trimming and weighing the dried product. Happy growing

Micro SCROG closet grow
7 weeks. Bought a radioshack pocket microscope and looking at the trichs under 100x zoom. Most are cloudy, some even turning slightly amber but those are real outliers. Most are still clear. I'll give it a week but if they start turning very cloudy soon I'll flush and start winding her down for harvest.
How early before harvest do you guys flush? Is it a week or just a few days?
