Please Help! I have a very important pre-employment drug screen coming up and I need some advice on what to do:

I know that substitution definitely works, but it seems too stressful and would like to avoid it if possible. I am a chronic daily smoker for years, but will have been clean for 22 days before the test. 2 days before I quit I tapered down to just 5 hits per day of crappy weed. I am 5â??8â?� and weigh 150 lbs. Iâ??m pretty skinny, but have some fat around the belly. I am going to exercise a lot daily until 2 days prior, and take fiber supplements to help get the THC out. I know the test will be a urine drug screen, but do not know if they will use the 50 or 20 ng detection cutoff (the employer is a very large corperation with lots of resources and is sending me to a hospital lab at a large hospital).
My questions are
1)Can I buy a 20ng home urine test anywhere to check myself
2) I know that dilution works and I plan on doing that along with eating red meat, taking creatine, and vitamin b12 prior to the test, but what about the spec gravity? If they test the spec gravity and see that it is dilute would this trigger a more sensitive gc-ms test?
3) Is the gc-ms much more sensitive than the screens- would I be shooting myself in the foot if I diluted my urine and then it was sent for gc-ms?
4) Would you recommend a detox clenser like they sell online?
5) What is you advise/ what are my chances?

Samples do not get sent to the GC/MS because theyre diluted. Only samples that tested positive for THC (or any other drug) on the assay screen get sent to the GC/MS for confirmation.

The GC/MS is not a more sensitive test than the assay - its just more accurate. Even though the cutoff thresholds are numerically different, a 50 ng assay screen is functionally equivalent to the 15 ng GC/MS. The cutoff numbers are different because the assay recognizes the composite of all 31 metabolite concentrations while the GC/MS only recognizes one metabolite concentration: THC-COOH.

Detox products are a big scam to exploit unfortunate victims of the so-called "war on drugs" and seperating them from their cash. When they do work, they "work" because of the dilution factor. You could spend upwards to $200 on a magic elixir and accomplish nothing different that what is accomplished using vitamin B2 (yes, B2) and water.

Forget the snake oil products and read the Dilution sticky thread.

That would depend on how high your THCA concentration is.
Dilution techniques in any configuration (the N2 method, magic detox potion, etc) can backfire if the THCA concentration in the bladder is too high. For most longtime daily users, its vitrually impossible to dilute that concentration without overdiluting and sending up the red flags at the lab.


You would be better off subbing.

Thanks. I will also be doing a pre-employment physical so I'm worried if i tape it to my thigh they might see it during the exam. Any advice on the best way to get around this? Also how do you make sure its the right temperature?
